Get Involved

Donations of any size are welcome and make a real impact at the Canadian Deafblind Association – BC Chapter. Undesignated donations are used to support costs that are associated with our programs. The Canadian Deafblind Association – BC Chapter practices ethical fundraising and believes in full and transparent accountability to our donors.

How will my donation be used?

Donations may be given for general operational use or may be directed to the following funding categories.

Community Involvement and Networking Opportunities

This fund aids with programming opportunities for adults and children who are deafblind including our Family Events, Summer Recreation Program and Virtual Recreation Program.

Hospital Intervention Services Program

This is a fund that children and adult members who are deafblind may access to receive much-needed Intervention support during a time of challenging medical situations or family crisis.

Awareness

This fund is used to further awareness activities. This includes the annual Canada-wide “National Deafblind Awareness Month” in June.
